For the past couple of weeks Room 7 have been emailing stories home to their parents.
The children then teach their parents how to do '2 stars and a wish', the parents are encouraged to type out their 2 stars and a wish onto the bottom of their stories and email them back.

For each star the parents are asked to give feedback on something positive about their childs piece of writing and for the wish it is something that they would like them to change or work on in their next piece of writing.

The children have enjoyed hearing the email go 'ping' and are very enthusiastic to check who has received mail.
